Young readers (grades 4-8) who love the outdoors are invited to join us for a different kind of summer camp! Your child will have literacy tutoring in a natural, informal setting at the Watershed Nature Center. Tutors are graduate students in the SIUE Literacy Program under the direction of Dr. Claudia McVicker. Tutors will challenge and engage young readers in literacy using nature as a catalyst for reading and writing. Cost: $20 per student.
One week camp: June 23-27 9am-11am
