Directions

The Watershed Nature Center is located at 1591 Tower Avenue in Edwardsville, Illinois, just 30 minutes from downtown St. Louis, Missouri. It is close to both Interstate 270 and Interstate 255.

From Interstate 270: Take Exit 9 for IL-157. Turn northeast toward Edwardsville. At the stoplight veer right. Travel on 157 for approximately 4 miles, until you reach the traffic light at St. Louis Street. Turn left onto St. Louis Street. Drive to the stop sign and turn right onto Elm Street. Drive one block; turn left onto Randle Street. Drive one block, then turn right onto Terry Street. Drive to stop sign; continue straight. Terry Street turns into Tower Avenue. You will see the Watershed sign on your left, across from Hoppe Park.

From Interstate 255: Take Exit 3 for New Poag Road and turn east toward Edwardsville. Travel 3 miles to the 4-way stop; continue straight for one mile to the stop sign at Elm Street. Turn left onto Elm Street. Drive one block; turn left onto Randle Street. Drive one block, then turn right onto Terry Street. Drive to stop sign; continue straight. Terry Street turns into Tower Avenue. You will see the Watershed sign on your left, across from Hoppe Park.
